The Fall Of Every Season started as a calm, mellow approach to sad music. It is, and has always been a one-man-project, founded by Marius Strand, during the autumn of 2004. The band was originally meant to reflect something different from metal, but it ended up as metal anyway. If one had to label it, it would most likely be labeled 'Doom Metal', clearly inspired by bands such as My Dying Bride, Swallow The Sun and Mourning Beloveth. But what you might not notice at once, is that it's also reflections from listening to more mellow stuff, like Sigur Rós and Anekdoten. The Fall Of Every Season is aiming to capture a unique atmosphere of pure emotion with the music. It's composed with clear thoughts of contrast, and also executed this way, through clean and distorted vocals, backed by clean and distorted guitars. The first demo is a prime example of this and is called "Neglected's Motif". Hopefully The Fall Of Every Season will get signed somewhere, and can continue the trip towards a bright, yet doomed future.
