In the winter of 1991 the drummer Conny Pettersson started a death metal band together with two friends called Dalibor Panic` (guitars) and Tommy Grönberg (bass). In 1992 Henrik Serholt (vocals) and Andreas Johansson (guitars) joined the band. The musical direction now changed from fast Morbid Angel-like death metal into a slower and more melodic style. Since the members wanted to move in different directions they broke up later that year with Tommy, Andreas and Serholt forming a new band called Fatal Embrace. They recorded two albums for Candlelight Records between 1995 and 1997 but since Candlelight changed owners the second album remained unreleased.
