Furcas was a death metal band from Buenos Aires, Argentina, that formed in the end of 1998. They recorded a demo in the year 2000, at which time the band included the Swede Lars Rosenberg (Entombed, Therion, Serpent) on bass who was currently living in Argentina. Musically they were rooted in death metal but incorporated various elements from black and heavy metal as well as industrial music. Their lyrics were inspired by philosophy (Nietzsche) and religion. They did their debut live show on May 5th, 2000, at the pub Via Cerino in Buenos Aires.
