The band was created in June 1997. The actual line-up features Damien (vocals), Mickael (guitar), Sébastien (lead guitar), Guillaume (bass) and Médéric (drums). Furia plays a melodic black-death metal, enhanced with heavy riffs, atmospheric or symphonic keyboards to be set with the lyrics of the band, dealing with heroic-fantasy among a imaginary world created by them.
From may 1998 to march 1999, Furia has recorded one 4 tracks demo-Cd intitled " Le jardin d'Eden " ( démo of the month in french national Mag Metallian ! ) in order to find gigs and a label,... and after " A la quête du passé ", their first album which has been released later by Adipocere Records .
" A la quête du passé " is now distributed in the whole Europe and in some other countries thanks. The band played a lot of gigs all around France and share the bill with label-mates Apostasia and Your Shapeless Beauty in november 2002 for their first french tour (17 dates). Their new opus is called "Lac de Larmes & De Sang"… and will be out in early march 2003...
In October 2005 the band signed a new contract with the French label Season Of Mist.
