Band biography

Goatwhore is a black metal made formed by well known musicians from the Louisiana metal scene. The band formed in 1996 / 1997 when Duet and Nolan had jammed black metal together when Acid Bath didn't have much to do. They soon made some four track demos together and when Acid Bath feel apart in 1997 they could dedicate more time to Goatwhore which now turned into a band with the addition of Stout and Pat Bruders. They were signed to the local label Rotten Records but in July 2004 they signed a deal with Metal Blade Records.
