Grand Prix was a British hard rock band that formed in the late 70s. After the released of their debut album the band toured Europe in early 1981 in support of Manfred Mann. Having been dropped by RCA they spent some time recording demo material and played on an East German TV show. New tours followed in support of major hard rock acts Sammy Hagar and Iron Maiden. The band split up in early 1984.
