Grey Division Blue was formed by guitarist Kevin Hufnagel (ex-The Fifth Season) and multi-instrumentalist Dan Clayton Ingerson around 1992. In late summer 1994 the duo recorded their first released called "Departure" which was a mixture of classical, folk and ambient music. They never promoted the band but nonetheless sold 200 copies of it. That became their one and only recording as the two explored new ground in other projects.
