Band biography
Hydrogyn photo
The American hard rock act Hydrogyn was formed in Ashland, Kentucky, in February 2004 by former members of the band Westlake which featured singer Julie Westlake among others. In early 2005 the new band signed with a management company called Desert Rock Promotions, soon to head off into the studio to work on their debut album with well reputed producer Michael Wagener. A cover of Skid Row's classic power ballad "18 & Life" was aimed towards the radio stations in March 2006. In January 2007 the band parted ways with their record company Chavis Records and moved onto a new label called DA Records. A UK club tour is planned to take place in February of 2007.
