Ice Age photo
The Swedish band Ice Age was more or less a standard thrash metal band similar to the early Metallica sound or perhaps early Overkill. One thing separated them from most other bands at that time though - all band members were girls. They formed in 1985 and recorded a couple of demos and toured in some European countries. They finally landed a record deal with AVM and were about to record their debut album when they decided to put the band to rest in 1990. Their guitarist Isabella Fronzoni actually joined Celtic Frost for some show in 1990 or 1991.
