The 5-headed monster called ICON OF HYEMES is born in may 1999 from the wish of the drummer Matteo and singer Pillo, both coming from previous experience DECEMBER : seminal death metal band since 1996. When Vincenzo , guitar, and Luca, bass joined the band , the first core of the band was born with temporay name ALPHARD, two live gigs were made.In december 1999 the band found its finally balance with the entrance of a new guitar, Luca , the choice fall on a man able to dedicate all himself in the project giving reachness to our personal sound :a peculiar mixture of american death and swedish influences.When then combo was formed , an intensive live activity begins. One year and half after, the band started to record its firts mini cd “GIFT”.After a lot of good reviews about “GIFT” , and a promotional tour , the band came back to recording studio in september 2002, exactly at FEAR STUDIO (ITALY) to give life to a new creature called “UNPOPULAR” : a new release with 5 more direct and aggressive tracks.
