Ill Niño photo
The New Jersey based band Ill Niño was formed in the year 2000 by the former Laaz Rockit / Pro-Pain drummer Dave Chavarri and was at first dubbed El Niño. He was joined by several other musicians of South American origin (Chavarri himself being from Peru). They found their own sound by adding Latin and salsa rhythms to heavy metal guitars and also acoustic flamenco guitars.
