Band biography

The Finnish melodic death metal band Imperanon was formed in the autumn of 1999 in Helsinki when Asko J. Sartanen met Jaakko Nylund. A few line-up changes followed during the next couple of years. After two demos the band signed a record deal with Nuclear Blast in late September 2003. They announced that they had been let go by the label in April 2005.
