Being already active more than ten years in the underground scene, belgian death metal merchants IN-QUEST have finally released their third fullength album, on goodlife recordings. After wrestling with lots of line up problems and various other problems, the band found it's final form in 2002 when Sven (Aborted) joined on vocals and Douglas was hired as lead guitarist (1999).
In this line up various shows and the debut of the new IN QUEST was born with the 2003 release of the CDEP 'Destination : Pyroclasm' which showed a mature IN-QUEST, but merely a glimpse of what was to come. After setting the whole wartheme aside, IN-QUEST took a new path, which altered the music in some ways but mostly developped the band a whole new level of maturity lyricwise and imagery wise.
The result of all the combined efforts and years of experienced musicianship can be heard on EPILEPTIC. A true statement of renewed extreme music. In-quest shows new possibilities of blending various music styles, combing furious blastbeats, mechanical rhythms and catchy grooves. All in all wrapped into a modern presentation. With this release In-Quest proves to be both technical, fresh and utterly diverse, for fans of IN FLAMES, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, MORBID ANGEL, NILE, FEAR FACTORY and MESHUGGAH...
