Incantation photo
Incantation was one of the early death metal bands on the American continent and formed in August of 1989. The two founding members John McEntee and Paul Ledney played together in a band called Revenant but since they were not very happy about the current direction of musical development of Revenant they formed their own band where they could make their dreams of blasphemous concepts and brutality come true. Since then they have released several albums. The band started out in New Jersey but in 1994 John McEntee relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, with the band. In December of 1998 it was time to relocate once again, this time to Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
