Inner Sanctum was one of the most important Uruguay metal bands from all times. With their extreme music influenced by Celtic Frost, they were one of the first metal bands to cross the country borders to conquest new crowds.
Founded in 1990, and only with a demo-tape and some great gigs in Uruguay, the line-up Pablo Van Lagat (bass and vocals), Heber Hammer (guitars) and Álvaro García (drums) crossed the huge Andes to play their first shows in Chile. Two years later, the come back was amazing... opening for the Brazilian black metal legend Sarcófago, and also recording the debut album for the local label Toxic Records.
