Irritant was formed in the summer of 1996 in Sacramento, Ca. After finding the right mold of musicians Irritant hit the live scene in March of 2000 and has released a relentless attack on the west coast raising them to the top of the Northern California Metal Scene. With their sheer power and fury Irritant’s live show’s pack a punch that has become something to witness!! Irritant holds nothing back and have become a force to be reckoned with. Irritant brings it all to the table with their old school thrash metal riffs, and the power of Valdez’s drums laced with the down -to-the-gut growls of front man Aaron Weber. Irritant is leading the way into today’s hardcore thrash metal scene. Irritant also has just finished up their first of two visits to the east coast this summer with a very successful show @ the VIRGINIA DEATH FEST in Virginia beach, Virginia, Next is TMT METAL FEST in Upstate NEW YORK.
Irritant has opened for many national act’s such as TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL, EXODUS, OVERKILL, GOD FORBID, DEICIDE, DYING FETUS, DRAGONLORD, DEEDS OF FLESH, VITAL REMAINS, WARBRINGER, winning over tons of new fans that continue to grow by leap and bounds everyday!!
