Isvind was a raw black metal band that was formed in Oslo, Norway, in 1992. At first they were called Icewind but they changed into Isvind (the Norwegian word for Icewind) in 1993. In 1995 they signed a record contract with the new label Solistitium Records (now Millennium Metal). The band broke up in 1997 but got back together in early 2002.
