The band's genesis goes back to 1998 when Nasir Tajuddin (born 10th April 1979, Pakistan) released his tracks as a solo artist at various free music sites. Being a naturally gifted tracker with a passion for metal music, Nasir's tracks became an instant hit with the audience at http://www.traxinspace.com and http://www.modarchive.com. It was in 1999 when Rickard Slotte (born 30th March 1980, Finland) caught Nasir's attention by smashing all metal charts at traxinspace.com. Rickard's melodic black metal and heavy metal tracks raced to all five top slots and created a great impact at many tracker web-sites. Both Nasir and Rickard teamed up in mid 1999 and consolidated "Jangli Jaggas". After a year of raw marketing, fan support and sufficient investment, the team was able to lift itself to that much needed level where Jangli Jaggas became a marketable name.
