Johnny Crash photo
Johnny Crash was an American hard rock band that was formed in 1987 by a group of musicians from UK and USA who had met in Los Angeles, California. After a few months of doing local club shows they signed with WTG, a sublabel of CBS Records. After the release of their album "Neightbourhead Threat" they toured with bands like Pretty Maids, Bonham and Mötley Crüe. The single "Hey Kid" was played regularly on MTV. A second album was recorded without guitarist and original member August Worchell and with future Guns 'n' Roses members Matt Sorum and Dizzy. However, the quality was very ppor and the band was dropped by their label and soon split up. The bassist died of a drug overdose in 1992.
