Band biography
Kampfar photo
Kampfar was a Norwegian black metal band that was formed in the first half of the 90's in the ashes of a band called Mock. In early 2001 they split with their label Hammerheart Records and then followed two years of silence from the band as they were struggling to win over the rights of their recordings. In 2003 they returned and started writing new material once again. A new line-up was also assembled, making Kampfar a four-piece. In late October / early November 2005 the band signed a new contract with the Austrian label Napalm Records.
