In the year 2000 The Flower Kings member Jonas Reingold wrote some progressive rock songs. He joined forces with several prominent members of the Swedish progressive rock scene to form the band Karmakanic. A deal was signed with Regain Records and in 2001 they recorded their debut album "Entering The Spectra" for an October 7th, 2002, release.
