Kevin Hufnagel began playing the guitar at age 12. At the age of 14 he joined his first band called The Fifth Season, a band whose music was heavily influenced by progressive music from bands like Rush and Fates Warning. That band lasted for two years. Next Kevin went on to form Grey Division Blue together with multi-instrumentalist Dan Clayton Ingerson. As that project was put on hold he entered the Assembly Line Studios in March of 1997 together with engineer Kevin 131 to record his first solo release.
