Guitarist Kreishloff began working on music that would become the basis for Lecherous Nocturne. Needing experienced metal musicians to bring his extreme Vision to life, he contacted Hohenstein, who had played with him earlier in the local thrash outfit Dominion and who at the time was doing vocal duties with the Atlanta based death metal band Narcolepsy.
Upon hearing the insanity that Kreishloff had composed, Hohenstein opted to leave Atlanta to help him make Lecherous Nocturne a reality. Knowing that they needed a powerhouse drummer to get things rolling, they recruited skin killer Clay Lytle who had spent time in the local death metal band Fatal Aggression and set to work. These three tried for months to find two dedicated musicians to fill the vacant bass and second guitar slot only to discover guitarist Chris Lollis, who had played with locals Desecration, right under their noses. The band played a few shows minus a bassist with the likes of local heavyweights Nile, the mighty Immolation, Krisiun, Incantation, and Angelcorpse just to name a few, and established a name for themselves as an underground contender.
In 2000, looking to record a three song demo, the band booked studio time in Atlanta only to cancel after Clay decided to leave the band citing personal reasons. Feeling drained and needing a change of scenery, the remainder of Lecherous Nocturne relocated to Colorado to see if their luck would change. A new drummer and Bassist were found and a three song demo was very hastily recorded for the close circle of Lecherous friends and fans. Disappointed with the drum work on the demo and the overall lack of motivation, the band decided this guy had to go and quickly relinquished him of his duties.
Meanwhile, Kreishloff had kept in close contact with Clay back in SC and asked him to rejoin the ranks and do the Nocturne some justice. Clay agreed, so Kreishloff headed back to SC, followed soon by Chris and Hohenstein. Chad Bradley, who had Spent time with Clay in Fatal Aggression, was asked to Join as bassist and the lineup was complete for the first time ever.
Now, with a new full-length album being released, and a solid, dedicated lineup ready to unleash sonic devastation upon the world, Lecherous Nocturne is poised to reveal a new, extreme brand of metal to the underground. “Singe Este Viata” or “The Blood is the life”. That life for Lecherous Nocturne is metal.
In January 2006 a deal was signed with Deepsend Records.
