| Band biography |
During 2008 he started working on his debut solo album entitled "Songs of Torment - Songs of Joy". The vocals were recorded in the bedroom of mixer Stefan Fandén, keyboards in the studio of Krux keyboard player Carl Westholm while bass and drums were recorded in a more traditional studio environment (drums by Tiamat skin basher Lars Sköld). Guitars on the album were handled by Björn Eriksson and Chris Laney.
Leif Edling labels the music of his solo album as "minimalistic organ doom" and it is set for a March release through Candlelight Records.
