Liege Lord photo
Liege Lord was originally formed in 1982 as a Judas Priest cover band. The band did however soon start writing their own material and they eventually recorded a demo in 1984 which led up to a record deal with the French label Black Dragon Records (the label responsible for the signing of such acts as Candlemass, Jag Panzer, Heir Apparent, Savage Grace, Manilla Road). In 1986 they signed a new deal with Metal Blade Records. The band broke up in 1990.
