Lionheart was a British hard rock band that was formed around November 1980 by Dennis Stratton (ex-Iron Maiden) and Jess Cox (ex-Tygers Of Pan Tang). They went through numerous line-up changes throughout their career and did not reach the kind of success they were hoping for. They supported Def Leppard on their 1981 British tour. The band probably split up in April 1986 when Steve Mann and Rocky Newton both joined the Macauley Schenker Group.
