Band biography Upload photo
The Australian symphonic black metal band Lord Kaos was formed in May 1994 as a five piece band but they soon dropped the original drummer. In 1995 they recorded their first 5 song demo and in May 1995 they appeared live for the first time at the Macarthur University in Sydney. Their debut album "Thorns Of Impurity" sold very well overseas and eventually led to Astennu joining the Norwegian black metal act Dimmu Borgir. He tried to pursue the rest of the band to follow him but they preferred to stay in Australia with the Warhead label. In late 1997 the band supported Cradle Of Filth. After numerous line-up changes throughout the years the band cancelled two key performances during 2001 and in December it was announced that the band had split up. At least one of the members used to play with a band called Empery Of Thorns.
