| Band biography |
Blackneed are born, a rock/metal band. The line-up is: e': Alessio Formenti (guitars), Marco Bachis (bass) e Lorenzo Michetti (drums).
1995:
Raffaele Cherchi joins Blackneed at vocals and guitar. First concert of the band. Lorenzo Michetti leaves the band and is substituted by Edoardo Sala. The band changes its name into Lucyphera. The sound becomes thrash metal.
1996:
Alessio Formenti leaves the band, substituted by Maurizio Colombo. Alessio Formenti comes back into the band, so formed by three guitarists.
1997:
Maurizio Colombo leaves the band. Lucyphera record the first demo "Brainstorm". Marco Bachis leaves the band and is substituted by Alessandro Maggioni. Cherchi Raffaele leaves the role of second guitarist to Stefano Bartesaghi.
1998:
Cherchi Raffaele leaves the band. Madryghal are born, the band is now thrash/power sound-oriented. The line up is: Alessio Formenti (guitars), Edoardo Sala (drums), Alessandro Maggioni (bass) and Stefano Bartesaghi (guitars). Mauro Bertagna joins at the band at keyboards and after a few months an various audictions Fabio Spinelli joins the band at vocals. In August Stefano Bartesaghi leaves the band. In October the recordings of the album "Dreamless Falling" begin. Spinelli joins the army.
1999:
The year passes by with the recordings of the cd. After many many audictions Maurizio Colombo re-joins the band at guitars, even if the guitar parts of the cd have been already recorded. First gigs with the new lineup.
2000:
"Dreamless Falling" is released. Forme, not leaving the band, leaves his live performances to Ottoboni and then to Stefano Bartesaghi who re-joined the band. Spinelli leaves the band.
2001:
Madryghal keep many audictions for the new singer but none of them totally satisfies the band. At the end of July begin the troubled recordings "Never and Ever".
2002:
Raffaele Bonfanti is chosen for the recordings of the vocal parts for the new cd. The whole year i spent to record "Never and Ever" through lots of technical problems.
2003:
The new cd Never and Ever" is mixed and then released at the end of the year.
