The Swedish metal band Mary Beats Jane was formed in Gothenburg (Göteborg) in 1991, named after band members squabbling girlfriends. In September 1994 they toured in support of Kyuss. Peter Dolving was among the founding members of thrash metal band The Haunted in 1998 but in 2003 it was announced that Mary Beats Jane were alive and well and working on new material once again.
