The German / Norwegian sextet MIDNATTSOL has joined the roster of talented NAPALM RECS artists. The band features Liv Kristine's sister, Carmen Elise Espenaes, on vocals, whose fascination for Scandinavian myth and fairy tale is to be recognized in her lyrics. With a full voice, at times bilingually (English and Norwegian), Carmen tackles the beauty and horror of nature, set in a different era, in a different world. Musically the band's sound can be described as melodic metal with a touch of folk. MIDNATTSOL's debut release is tentatively scheduled to be released early next year and will be recorded at the well known Mastersound studio. (Taken from www.napalmrecords.com)
