Mist Enticer heads from Trondheim, Norway and started originally in 1996, when Wahl (guitar) started a metal band with Helgesen (drums). They were joined by Hirsch and Svee of Bethzaida (Season of Mist), but lasted only for a few months. Wahl and Helgesen got together a year later and started to rehearse by themselves. By that time, Wahl had joined Bethzaida as a bass player. In April ‘98 they were again joined by Hirsch, and they went directly into Studio Skansen to record a demo. The demo contains 4 tracks and was recorded and mixed in 3 days.
The band plays a hybrid of melodic black/death metal. Mist Enticer’s main advantages are the musicians’ high tecnical skills combined with good songwriting.
In April '99, Mist Enticer once again went out from the rehearsal room and into the next-door Skansen Studio. The result was the '99 demo "Hetaera Esmeralda". This one contains 6 tracks of excellent metal, recorded and mixed in 3 days. The deme is released with the '98 demo as a bonus for a total of 10 tracks.
