Band biography

Monstrosity was formed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, in late 1990 by the bassist Mark Van Erp, drummer Lee Harrison and guitarist Jon Rubin. Later on George "Corpsegrinder" Fischer was enlisted on vocals. Nuclear Blast was very interested in the band and signed them for the classic debut album "Imperial Doom". There were however some disagreements between the band and the label and after recording a new demo they signed a new deal with Conquest Music.
