Morbid Saint photo
The American thrash metal band Morbid Saint formed in 1986. The band's debut album "Spectrum Of Death" was produced by Eric "Griffy" Greif (engineered by Al Pangelinan) who was also the manager for Chuck Schuldiner and Death between 1988 and 1992. The album was originally released by the band themselves on tape but the Mexican label Avanzada Metálica re-released it on vinyl in 1988. It was once more re-released by Grind Core Int. in 1992. "Spectrum Of Death" was recorded and mixed at Opus Recording in Gurnee, Illinois. Morbid Saint split up some time in the mid 90s. An unreleased album entitled "Destruction System" was recorded in 1992.
