Namek photo
The Portuguese grindcore act Namek was created in Almada in 1996. In March 2005 they were reportedly in the studio recording their debut album, to be released later in the year by Mexico's Embrace My Funeral Records (a label headed by Disgorge guitarist Edgar). The produced chosen for the mission was The Firstborn guitarist Paulo Vieira. Namek also appeared on a compilation album called "Tribute to Gut" from the Mexican label American Line Productions with their take on "Women In Decay".
