Nattvind was originally formed in 1994 under the name Nattvindens Gråt and recorded a keyboard based black metal demo tape in 1995. Later on they changed their sound into a more gothic doomy direction before settling with gothic rock / metal influenced by bands like HIM and Katatonia.
