Band biography
Necronomicon photo
Necronomicon were one of the first German thrash metal bands together with Kreator, Sodom, Destruction and others. The band formed in 1983 and after having recorded two demos they signed a deal with Gama Records in 1986, a label formed by Geoff Jukes, the manager of Camel. Since their second label D&S Records pulled out of the music business in 1998 they found themselves without a record deal. In the year 2000 they recorded a demo cd and does not seem to have secured a new deal yet.
