Necrovore was formed in 1986 in Texas, USA, and quickly became one of the most important bands on the American underground metal scene. They have been a major influence to many of the modern American death metal bands like Morbid Angel, Immolation and Incantation to only name a few. They recorded one rehearsal tape thas was widely spread in the underground and then one demo which was never released. They also recorded a track called "Slaughtered Remains" for a compilation LP called "Satan's Revenge Part II". The band split up before 1990 but reformed for a while in 1998. Nothing was heard from them for a while but now (2002) they are apparently back again with the original line-up and working on new material. One of the band members was also involved with the band Morbid Scream who released a self-titled demo tape in 1989. Mike Hernandez only jammed with Bjorn a couple of times before taking off and Louie Carrizales played drums for the band one single time.
