Omnitron photo
The Swedish punk / hardcore / thrash metal crossover act Omnitron trace its history back to Stockholm in 1981 when they were first known as The Krixhjälters, inspired by American punk acts such as Black Flag and Dead Kennedys. After gaining reputation throughout Europe after tours in Denmark, Holland and Germany they decided to change their name into Omnitron in 1990. The next year they split up but Ström and Ekman continued working together in the death metal act Comecon. Pontus Lindqvist and Stefan Kälfors resurfaced in Enter The Hunt.
