Orcustus first came into being as a band in the beginning of 2002. The material presented on this demo was, on the other hand, created by Taipan (vocals) between 1998 and 2000. The rest of the group features wellknown musicians from the Norwegian black metal scene; Infernus - bass (Gorgoroth), Dirge Rep – drums (ex-Gehenna, ex-Enslaved) and Tormentor – guitars (ex-Gorgoroth, Gaahlskagg). The music should definently be described as oldschool black metal.
