Paise was a Finnish band that formed in February 1994. The band started out playing Metallica covers and in the summer they decided to go by the name Paise (meaning "Abscess" or "Furuncle" in English). They also played some songs from Nirvana, Sepultura and Finnish punk bands. Paise wrote some own songs as well which were more in the punk vein. After participating in a "Shittiest Band" contest they broke up in early 1995 due to personal and musical disagreements.
