Phantom District is the brain child of Emrick (vocals, lyrics), Ghast (composition, drums, lyrics), and Omega (keyboards). Conceived in early April of 2005 with the desire to create a dark, visual metal band influenced by the Japanese visual kei genre here in the United States, Phantom District has grown with the addition of guitarist Lacera, and bassist Loki.
We are a concept band: all of our songs are based on paranormal activities taken place in the fictional, government exile town known as Phantom District. We have a total of 11 songs written thus far, and a demo that was released in mid-October 2005, which includes 3 original songs and a cover of Schwarz Stein's "New Vogue Children", with Ghast on guitar, bass, & back-up vocals, Emrick on lead vocals, and programmed keys and drums.
