1995
Instrumental project starts in May. First line-up is Jani Lehtosaari
[distorted bass], Reetta Säisä [keyboards] and Reima Kellokoski [drums].
Demo recordings in May-July. Kellokoski joins Impaled Nazarene in
August. Niko Karppinen [soft bass] joins Plan E and Lehtosaari decides to
take care of some vocals. First studio sessions November-December at
Tico-Tico Studio.
1996
Lehtosaari joins Impaled Nazarene in February. Five-track debut cdep E
For Your Ears released in April on Lehtosaari\'s own E Records label.
New recordings at Tico-Tico Studio in June and at Neo Studio in July.
Four-track cdep E For Your Eyes out in October. The original trio
continues without Karppinen. In December Jori Hulkkonen contacts Plan E and
asks for a permit to remix the song Deep.
1997
Deep remix-single released in January as a transparent 7\" vinyl.
Recordings during June-August at Neo and Tico-Tico Studios. Six-song mini-lp
E Spelled Backwards out in October as a limited 10\" multicolored
vinyl. First promo photos were taken. Markku \"Lene\" Leinonen from Terveet
Kädet joins Plan E as a second bassist. Jori Hulkkonen remixes again.
1998
Recordings for the first full length album starts in April at Tico-Tico
Studio. Lunarscapes remix-single released in May on green 7\" vinyl.
Recordings for the album finished in August at Tico-Tico. Lehtosaari\'s
new record label Solardisk starts in September. Songs For A Rainy Day cd
out in October as label\'s debut release. Leinonen moves to the USA in
November. The original trio continues. First promo video Shape Shift
finished in November.
1999
US-version of Songs For A Rainy Day cd out on Root Of All Evil Records
[with a Joy Division cover as bonus track]. The split 7\" with Climb To
Zalem delays a lot and finally both bands decide to record some
additional material and release the ep thru Solardisk on cd format.
2000
Recordings for new album starts in February at Tico-Tico. Lehtosaari
leaves Impaled Nazarene in July and concentrates on Solardisk label & the
recordings of Plan E. Split w/ Climb To Zalem cdep released in August.
Recording sessions for Found And Lost album finally finished at
Soundmix Studio in November.
2001
Second album Found And Lost out in March. Kellokoski and Säisä leave
the project a week after the release. Deep 2000 promo video finished in
April. The Black League drummer Sir Luttinen [ex-Impaled Nazarene &
Legenda, now also in Terveet Kädet] joins Plan E as a session drummer in
November.
2002
Heikki Haataja from March Maggot joins Plan E for another session
drummer duty. Recordings for Best Kept Secret starts in June at Tico-Tico
Studio. Official web site plan-e-tarium.com opened and recordings for the
upcoming album continues at Soundmix Studio in October.
2003
Lehtosaari gets sick and tired of running the record label business for
nearly five years and closes Solardisk down in June. Recordings
throughout the year and Best Kept Secret album finally finished early October
at Soundmix Studio. Recordings for A Tribute To Shawn Smith album in
September at Planet Studio and Heikki Haataja becomes a permanent member
of Plan E. Best Kept Secret album licensed to the Russian label Irond
Records in December and release date set to early 2004.
