Power was a Swedish hard rock band that evolved out of Highbrow in the late 70s. It wasn't until 1983 that they presented their debut demo cassette. Both Marcel and Zepp left to join Yngwie Malmsteen, being replaced by Peter Olsson and Jari Katila respectively.
Power released a couple of singles before disbanding in 1990 despite some interest from major labels. Christopher Ståhl ended up playing on the debut album from Talisman while keyboardist Patrik Appelgren joined Treat. Patrik is actually a brother of Swedish world champion table tennis player Mikael Appelgren.
