Band biography
Princess Pang photo
On New Year's Eve 1985 vocalist Jeni Foster met bassist Ronnie "Roze" Johansson in Manhattan, New York. The two decided to form a band and when he had to return home to Sweden to renew his Visa, Foster came with him. In Sweden they found the guitarist Andy Tjernon and Princess Pang was officially formed. In the fall of 1986 the band was joined by drummer Brian Keats from Roze's old New York based band Angels In Vain, and they returned to New York. They signed a deal with Metal Blade Records and in 1989 they released their one and only album. After their first tour the female vocalist left the band and in 1990 they called it quits. Jeni Foster apparently formed a dance oriented band called Devachan later on. Tjernon and Keats joined the Diamondbacks and later on Ronnie and Tjernon returned to Sweden to record new material together.
