Virtual Insanity (1994) - Even with a built in fan base from previous projects, they never thought for one minute that it would be easy playing original music in local clubs. Yet after sacrificing the sheer comforts of West Virginia and Pennsylvania's top-drawing acts, "Psycho Scream" have been proving themselves quite worthy!!!!! From the bands record breaking debut at Club 65 (Freedom, PA) to the unforgettable crowd-stopping opener for Yngwie Malmsteen at Graffiti!!! You may have seen these guys in previous projects as the opening act for the likes of: Lilian Axe, Lord Tracy, Bad Company, Jackyl, Vicious Rumors, Chastain, Dokken, and many more!! "Psycho Scream" has been playing shows non stop throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania since april '94.
Their home grown cassette/single debut "Stare Into My Eyes" and "Forever On", received favorable reviews in such prestigious publications as "Burn Magazine(Japan)", and "Metal Maniacs (US)", and has drawn the attention of fans and industry professionals across the world!!
Although response has been overwhelmingly positive, reaching the completion of their "Virtual Insanity" release has been a virtual nightmare!!! The group has overcome innumerable obstacles that would send a lesser prepared outfit into a hasty demise! Literally: Floods, Stolen Equipment, Rehersal Space Closings, Studio Relocation, Equipment Damage, Illness, Poverty, and the unusual distance between them (over 150 miles!!) have not daunted these fearless warriors of what is to come!!!
Rehearsing in Bellaire, OH - Recording in Cleveland - Band members residing in Wheeling WV, Washington PA, and Pittsburgh PA, this unit will go the distance to get what they want!! Desire, Drive, and Determination are the dimensions that make this multi faceted power ensamble a shining success!!! The conspiracy merges the cerebral and emotional elements of artistic musical creation, hence the name "Psycho Scream"!!!
Members : Tim Aymar (Vocalist formerly of Dr. No, 313, and XXX), Jim Dofka ( Guitarist formerly of Screamer, Brick Mistress, DOFKA (with project on Black Dragon Records in Paris, France "TOXIC WASTELAND") Brian Mihalovich (Formerly of: Axis, Brick Mistress and, Dofka). The " VIRTUAL INSANITY " release is currently sold out!
