The American hard rock band Royal Court Of China was formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1984 under the original monicker The Enemy. In 1986 they changed their name and released the EP "Off The Beat'n Path". Their manager Grace Reinbold then managed to get them a deal with A&M Records and they released two full-length albums for them before splitting up. Joe Blanton attempted a country artist career in the 90s but failed to gain much attention.
