In 2001 guitarist / vocalist Jörgen Lindhe suffered depression from several major setbacks in his personal life. He had quit his studios, his job, his band had broken and he had broken up with my girlfriend. Fresh out of love and money he began writing new material with lyrics entirely in Swedish. Jörgen is a scene veteran and has played with well-known local acts like Obscurity, Flegma and Redrvm since the mid 80s. He was quickly joined by his old band colleague Martin Brorsson on drums.
In early 2002 S.K.U.R.K. was becoming a real and unique band with vocals entirely in the southern Swedish dialect of "skånska" (scanian). The duo drafted new members in guitarist Björn Hall (Subfret) and bassist Mike Svensson (Zico) and recorded a four track demo the same year. During the summer of 2003 second guitarist Sören Sandved (Ominous) was recruited. 2006 saw the release of the band's debut album "666 Personligheter" via the Swedish label Record Heaven. They briefly used the monicker Skurk666. By 2007 the band had parted ways with Björn Hall.
