In October '91 the band recorded their first tape. This demo got such a great reception from the Portuguese media and audience that they immediately appeared at all preference tops around. In September '92 the band recorded 4 new tracks for a 7"EP out on Slime Rec.(Portugal), and Wild Rags Rec.(U.S.A.) on tape. The band was also invited by MTM to appear on the compilation LP "The birth of a tragedy". In '92 they were the metal act with the most live appearances in the country during which time they proved their acclaimed reputation as a live act and status as Portugal's nº1 metal band. In the spring of '93 and due to the interest of Musica Alternativa the band entered Edit studios with producer Jorge Adónis and recorded the fabulous album "DARKSIDE". The reaction of both public and critics was unanimous in claiming this as the best death metal album ever released by a Portuguese band. "DARKSIDE" has received the following reactions:
- Best Portuguese metal album '93 NRJ's "Metal Radical" radio show.
- Second best Portuguese metal album '93 "Super Som" magazine reader's poll.
- Best Portuguese metal album '93 "Super Som" magazine reader's poll during 3 months, and the following reviews : 5 / 5 in the Portuguese magazine "Super Som", 3 / 5 in the Spanish magazine "Heavy/Rock", 8,5 / 10 in the Dutch magazine "Aardshock", 7,5 / 10 in the German magazine "Rock Hard", 4 / 5 in the British magazine "Terrorizer", 4,5 / 5 in the Spanish magazine "Metali-ko", among others.
The band has also played some tour dates as support act for NAPALM DEATH and MANOWAR and were invited by Vanessa Warwick to play at her "HEADBANGERS Ball Video Road Show". The "DARKSIDE" video has also been featured on MTV- HEADBANGERS BALL (they were the first and only Portuguese band to have a video played on MTV) and it was also played on MTV - Brazil and TELEJONICA - Italy. "DARKSIDE" first edition sold out in February '94 (five months after it's official release). Between June and September the band had to stop performing live because the lead guitarist had to go to the army. A new special re-mixed edition came out in September, this edition was licensed to: Hungary, Poland, Romania, Czech rep. and Slovakia. Also in September they were invited to play at the national commemorations of world music day, representing heavy music. During October they licensed the album "DarkSide" to: Mexico, USA and Canada. In April the band went into the studio again to record the follow-up to "DARKSIDE" which was released by Dinamo / BMG Ariola on November 6th entitled "Eye M God". it's much more powerful than their early material.During June they support TIAMAT, SAMAEL & SENTENCED. To promote the new album they toured Europe during December supporting MALEVOLENT CREATION, and VADER which began after the gig in Portugal supporting THERAPY ?.
From this album they made the video for the titletrack "Eye M God" that has been featuring at MTV´s Headbangers Ball and at VIVA´s Metalla. At the end of 95 they were considered 3rd best metal album by the listeners of Metal Radical on Radio NRJ and after that they stayed favorite two months at number 1 on the listeners air play chart.
During April they split up with the inoperative record label, Dinamo, and now they are doing efforts to license the "Eye M God" album for a new release, once that the 1st edition has been very badly distributed. In June '98 the band sign a deal with União Lisboa / Farol, and they go to Exit studio to record «Anguish I Harvest». This album is licensed to UK label Dream Catcher for European distribution and is released in February´'99. In March the band starts touring activities in Portugal, and supported ENTOMBED in April. In June the tour follows in Spain and more shows in Portugal. In the Summer the band appears at some major Festival in their country with bands like MANOWAR, NAPALM DEATH, PARADISE LOST, etc. During November they join PRIMORDIAL for a tour in Portugal and Spain to finish a year of intense touring.
In June 2000 they come back for more shows in Portugal, Spain and Belgium. For the Halloween 2000 the band goes back on the road for the 2nd part of «Anguish the Tour», playing more shows in Portugal, Spain, Belgium and Germany . In November the band signed with UK label DEMOLITION Records, for 3 albums, and in December start the recordings of the new album at their own new studio the "13th Cave".
The new album entitled «TRANSLUCID DREAM MIRROR» is released on the 9th of April. The tracklist: "Translucid dream mirror ", "La clef des grands mistéres", "Ravish the soul", "Zukunft Ketnnis", "Gift of second sight", "Maleficent genii", "Extra-natural mediator", "Mei lacrimae in tenebre", "Transmutation (sphera lunae sempiternum ...)", "By the wyvern we flowed", "Prelude to Phenomena", "Unbridled hate", "The shadow gate", and "Evil has no boundaries" (SLAYER). In April / May the band will go on tour in Portugal, Spain, Holland, Germany, Czeck Rep, Belgium and France. It the start for the promotion of the new album considered the band's best release so far.
For the Summer it should be out a double CD «Mastery of the Holy Imperial Art" including the first 2 albuns plus lots of rarities, cd-rom tracks, video-clips,etc . This release is a gift for all fans in the celebration of a decade of sin in the sacred Metal way!
