Band biography

Sargatanas Reign was formed in 1997 by Kristoffer "Ushatar" Andersson (guitar), Marcus Lundberg (guitar) and Stefan "Vrashtar" Kronqvist (drums). At first they were playing black metal and known as Sargatanas but eventually their style developed towards death metal and they changed their name to Sargatanas Reign as there were several other bands with the same name. On the way Magnus "Devo" Andersson (vocals) and Niklas Samuelsson (bass) joined the horde. In October 2004 they signed a record contract with Blooddawn Productions / Regain Records.
