Satanized was formed by Jon Nödtveidt and Johan Norman in 1991 to create insane and very satanic death/black metal. The band didn´t really make any real effort to establish a name for themselves since they were involved with other bands of higher priority such as Decameron and Dissection. The band only lasted for about a year and during that time they recorded a few rehearsal tapes and played a gig in November 1991. Two of their songs, "Satanized" and "Born In Fire", were recorded in the summer of 1991 and later released on the Dissection early history album "The Past Is Alive" on Necropolis Records.
